parents divorced when he was 12
Dad left for Spain
Eckart went to live with o near his dad in Spain, did not attend school
Went to the UK at 19...teaching German and Spanish, went to University
eventually ended up living on park benches finding his own way and something akin to eastern philosophy,
ended up in Vancouver Canada, wrote 2 bestseller books dealing with living in the now as he calls it...
